Four hour Vistadome train ride into this spectacular land of the Incas with amazing views of valleys, inca farming terraces, snowcapped mountains and cloud forest to Aguas Calientes. Then a bus will transport you to the citadel. A 3 hour guided tour will take you into the fantastic history of this magic, sacred and mysterious place known as Machu-Picchu.

Transfer from your hotels at 5:45 am to Poroy Train Station. (Train leave at 06:40 am)
The train ride consists of spectacular views in this wonderful land of the Incas, (this train has big panoramic windows) amazing landscapes of mountains and valleys, inca farming terraces on both sides of the valley, snow capped mountains and cloud forest near the Ceja de Selva. From Pachar the sacred Vilcanota river will be our companion until arrival at Aguas Calientes (2040mt/7907ft) well known as Machu Picchu Pueblo. Your guide will meet you at the train station and transfer you to the bus for 25 minutes to Machu Picchu. A guided tour of Machupicchu “The Old Sacred Mountain” takes approximately 2 hrs and then you have some free time for taking photos, exploring more the citadel, eventually climbing Wayna Picchu.
Machu Picchu, the lost city of the Incas, where the last emperors, priests and priestesses took refuge and where the empire survived for 40 years after the arrival of the Spaniards. Secret and mysterious citadel from the time of Pachacutec Inca Yupanqui (IX-Inca`s Dinasty) emperor, his presumed constructor. Apparently its existence was even well-known only by the authorities and the priests of the Tawantinsuyo “The four directions of the empire”. Machu Picchu, prodigy of architecture of aesthetic recklessness by the majestic and harmony of its forms, by the impeccable organization of its terraces, stairs, buildings, patios, passages that are set up in this nest of condors, surrounded by mountains.
Then you go back to Aguas Calientes and around 2.55 or 4.22pm, you take the return Vistadome Train to Poroy – Cusco or to Ollantaytambo then a private Bus to Cusco, arriving at your hotel in the evening.

Please fill in the form from our “BOOK NOW” menu on our homepage. Then make a deposit of $200 per person which you can do via PayPal to firstname.lastname@example.org. Pay Pal does charge a small fee of 5.5% which has to be paid by the client. This comes to a total of $211 per person including PayPal fees. As soon as we receive both we will book your Machu Picchu entrance tickets + train tickets and email you with a confirmation and your final invoice which can be paid when you arrive in Cusco.
Unfortunately the answer is “Not”. Once the tickets have been bought the government does not allow any changes, so we can’t change any departure dates after the ticket has been bought. Tickets are also not transferable and not refundable.
*** If you cancel your Lares Trek, the deposit is not refundable at all!
It will depends on the train availability BUT the idea is to allow as much time as possible in Machu Picchu and enjoy the amazing views on the way back to Cusco from the train, we mean you will take the train at 15:37, 16:22 or 18:10h
OF COURSE! You have to bring your original passport and it is very important that it be the same passport number you sent to us to book your Lares trek 4 days. The rangers will double check at Machu Picchu entrance and Huayna Picchu Mt entrance. The train company will also check your passport before allowing you to board the train. In case you are renewing your passport, go ahead and send us your old number to secure your permit, and we can change it when you get your new passport number…if so, please send the the new passport number as son as you get it.
First I may say the wather is very unpredictable and its difficult to know BUT you will have many different varieties of weather as you pass through the numerous microclimates and will depends on the location. We highly recommend to bring your warm clothes and a good rain gear on your day back pack.

Absolutely!!! On day 1st we will pick you up from your hotel which is included in the package and on last day we will drop you at your hotel too! If you have booked your hotel in the Sacred Valley like Ollantaytambo or Urubamba, we may drop you over there too!
It is 2 hours by train from Aguas Calientes to Ollantaytambo and then another 2 hours from Ollantaytambo to Cusco by bus. If you upgrade to Vistadome all the way backc to Poroy (Cusco), the train is 3 1/2 hours to Poroy, then 25 by taxi to Cusco. Usually our clients are back at the hotel by 20h, if you are planning to take the bus to Puno on the same night, that is totaly posible.
